RBN Payroll System Functionality

RBN PAYROLL provides payroll services using SAGE VIP Premier Employee Self Service software, which is an online platform that is integrated with the payroll software. ESS Offers user-friendly functionality from easy access of payslips and IRP5’s to staff. ESS also allows staff to apply for leave, overtime and re-imbursive claims.

SAGE are a leading provider of bookkeeping and payroll software for all sizes of businesses. They have an established footprint within South Africa and can provide real-time support.

The application is hosted on our secure server which, together with any payroll data, is backed up to a remote server on a daily basis.

Any information distributed from the payroll to your Company and your employees is done in strict accordance with an agreement with yourselves. We place strict importance on the confidentiality of payroll information and limit the distribution thereof.

Before the 16th of each month

Client to provide all data changes i.e variable changes, new employee starts, employee terminations, all/any changes that needs to be actioned.
RBN to collate all the data

Between the 17th and the 22nd of each month

RBN payroll to validate all the data provided and apply changes accordingly
Variances will be monitored/tracked by RBN
Any concerns or queries with regards to what has been provided, will be handled within this timeframe

Payment Cycle

Once the client has verified that the payroll is accurate, RBN will provide an invoice to the Client.
Client makes payment to RBN
RBN will then transfer salaries, according to clients request date, to staff
Payslips will then be sent to all staff

Month End Processing

RBN will provide Clients Financial Manager with any month end reporting data that is required
RBN will reconcile and pay all/any third party payments to the various funds. Ie. Medical aid, provident fund, pension fund, garnishees, life cover etc
RBN will also complete, submit and pay all statutory returns to SARS for PAYE, UIF and SDL
RBN with submit all UIF files to the Dept of Labour
